Paddington is a busy train station in central London located on Praed street in the Paddington area of the city and was opened on 4th June 1838 as a temporary terminus for the Great Western Railway, then in 1854 the main station was opened. The main station was designed by Isambard Kingdon Brunel, who also has a statue at the station, with much of the architectural detailing done by his associate Matthew Digby Wyatt. The station has a glazed roof supported by wrought iron arches in four spans.

During recent late night track isolation’s at London Paddington Abfad’s team was required to complete high level rope access industrial cleaning to remove the build up of dirt and grime and then provide a new coating to span 2 of the station.
